One Stop Shop (Dec. 6, 2014)

OSS is an event jointly sponsored by the Redford Aldersgate United Methodist Church - Brightmoor Campus and The Detroit Partnership at U of M. It provides underprivileged families in the Brightmoor neighborhood with these much-needed resources:
  • Clothing
  • Children's toys
  • Groceries
  • Home appliances
  • A community meal
  • Information about community programs
Last year, we were able to welcome 400+ families into our doors and provide them with some of the resources mentioned above.

What We Need

Specifically, your monetary donations will help us purchase:

  • Small kitchen appliances (toasters, coffee makers, microwaves, etc.)
  • Children's toys
These are two areas where physical donations typically do not provide us with enough to help out all who attend the event.
