Hello! I am Daniel Murphy, a senior at SUNY Albany. Me and my partner Peter Zimmermann, are raising money for the charitable Organization, Out of the Pits, which aims to shed a positive light on a truly misunderstood breed of dogs. 

Out of the Pits is a non-profit good cause organization that seeks to educate the public about the true nature of the #American Pit Bull Terrier.

Out of the Pits also operates as a rescue organization that has successfully rehomed over one thousand dogs, and helps many more stay in their homes with changing legislation. 

The sad truth is that Out of the Pits receives nearly 1,000 requests every week to take in unwanted Pit Bulls. Furthermore nearly 80% of Pit Bulls in shelters end up becoming victims of euthanasia. And sadly only 1 in every 600 Pit Bulls in shelters will ever be adopted and find that loving home.
