PROMENADE
The Story
Set in present day against the backdrop of the Bastille Day attack, which took place in 2016 on The Promenade des Anglais in Nice. A victim and survivor of the incident returns to the hotel where he stayed with his wife, who was killed on that fateful evening, to find some kind of closure. He has hired a stranger to come and replay that night again, but in this version they both return home safely to the hotel. Things don't exactly go to plan, but what could have been a story ending in even more tragedy and darkness actually becomes one of hope, courage and strength from a stranger reaching out in the hour of need. They are both about to have a huge impact on each others' lives, which neither see coming.

What We Need & What You Get
CAST & CREW
We are lucky to have some of the best in the business working for us on both sides of the camera. Everyone is doing this for the passion of the project and not for the big bucks but we do of course have to cover some fees, expenses and any equipment as well as any travel and accommodation. And of course, no one can work on an empty stomach!
LOCATION
Your support will help our production designer to convincingly recreate the interior of Nice style hotel as well as the cost of hiring the location itself, which we will also need extra rooms for crew and video village as well as somewhere that can house our actors and makeup/costume departments.
EQUIPMENT
About as important as it gets really. We’ve been lucky enough to call in some favours and cinematographer is saving us a lot with not only the talent he brings but his equipment! But we’ll still need extra gear to shoot the film, including lenses, and lights etc.
FESTIVAL EXPENSES
It isn't widely known about how much this costs... but submission fees are expensive and you have to apply to many so this amount adds up to a substantial amount. They're the only way to get our film seen on the big screen and your donations will help us submit it to major international film festival to be in with a chance of awards and distribution.
POST-PRODUCTION
Again, we’ve been lucky enough to call in some favours, but your support will help us with those crucial few weeks in post: editing, grading, and perfecting the sound.
INSURANCE & CONTINGENCY
We want to bring the best film we can to the Indiegogo community and our generous supporters, so it's necessary paying a little extra to insure the production. Contingency will help us cover any unforeseen extras, and any extra will go towards post-production.
INDIEGOGO FEES
Indiegogo take 5% of all the money we raise - but we couldn't do it without them! We'll need a little extra in the budget to cover this.
THE REWARDS
We are incredibly grateful to anyone who supports PROMENADE, whether it's pledging £10 or £5,000!
Pledges start from as little as £10 and range from limited edition behind the scenes photos, your name on the credits, tickets to the exclusive London premiere and more...
Take your pick from the great choices on the right =====>>

PRIVATE PARTNERS
We have various possibilities in terms of potential investment partners such as private individuals or a media investment companies.
PUBLIC FUNDS
Many will be applied to, both national and regional, including the BFI, who we already have submitted application to for additional funding.
