Short Summary

"Real Oranges" is the name we picked for our film, a sort of undefined play on words regarding to plot elements and generally the conscious and subconscious relationship portrayed within. There's a conflict presented not through character or motivation, but in technics and metatextual elements. The idea of dreams and waking reality, narrative and non-narrative, the idea of film as a physicality and a universal language, etc etc. 

As the two leads bumble over their failing film endeavor, a string of dreams provokes them into an anxiety filled night through the city streets, finding any semblance of an answer to their investments. 

What We Need & What You Get

These things aren't cheap, usually 

• We're shooting a split between digital and 16mm film cameras to portray one of the aforementioned conflicting elements, a great deal of funding goes to both.
• In addition the processing and scanning costs of these reels is a majority of what the funding will go towards
• We wanted to make a few fun investment awards that we could circulate as both a thank you and a bit of promotional, in the form of t-shirts presently  

The Impact

There's been a great deal of shooting already, and the support from outside of indiegogo has been tremendous. We're excited to finish filming in the coming months, and having an edited finished product by August. Your donations would significantly help the process, as well as any sharing of this page and the filming process in general
