We are at a showdown.
We live in the Sixth Great Extinction of all life on Earth. Insecticides threaten the global food supply. GMOs choke out organic agriculture. Our story is the Star Wars of the environmental struggle.
Monsanto is our villain, the instrument of death that breeds GMOs and soaks seeds in neonicotinoid insecticides. Bayer, Syngenta and the United States government are Monsanto’s nefarious cohorts.
We will march from Ferguson to the global headquarters of Monsanto.
We will unleash that part of ourselves that we've held quietly in reserve, that collection of courage. Anybody hear me?
Let's be too outlandish to be called mere "protesters."
Our nonviolent direct action will be so dramatic that people will shout out, “How will the bees get back to their hive?” and “How will we survive?”
