The Fall to Earth by Joel Drake Johnson is a peek into the world of undiagnosed generational mental illness and it's relational and heartbreaking consequences. This is a story that is screaming to be told in a society still grappling with accepting and treating mental health issues. We hope to produce this powerful and often hilarious play in hopes of raising money for two organizations that are near and dear to our hearts - Crisis Text Line and To Write Love On Her Arms.
-
Crisis Text Line is free, 24/7 support for those in crisis. Text "HOME" to 741741 from anywhere in the US to text with a trained Crisis Counselor. Crisis Text Line trains volunteers to support people in crisis. They serve anyone, in any type of crisis, providing access to free, 24/7 support and information via a medium people already use and trust: text.
-
To Write Love On Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.
We need to raise $5,000 to get this production up and off the ground.
Donations will cover theatre rental, play rights, and other production costs that you can find in our nifty pie chart below. It's important to us that you know that our team is donating their time and resources - we will not be collecting any of the money personally.
How can you help?
You can help us produce The Fall to Earth and support these life saving organizations for as little as $5. Perks range from playbill credits to a VIP Experience on the show night of your choice. Even if you can't donate financially, we can still use your help! You can share our campaign link on your social media pages by using the share tools on this page.
