Hey! I'm Nick Roger, CEO and Co-Founder of Rightstick Studios. We've been working on small homemade video games for several years, but have rarely had the chance to finish or publish our games. This year, I'd like to break that streak by publishing Rightstick's first commercial video game: Wonder Wickets.
This is a special campaign, because actually, Wonder Wickets is already funded! We've saved up a small budget ourselves, and ANIM-ACE is acting as our producer and publisher for Wonder Wickets, provided the additional funds we needed to afford enough music and sound effects. However, the budget we have now is only the minimum amount we needed for a "quality yet affordable" product. We're launching this campaign in hopes that we can raise more funds, and make Wonder Wickets the game we really want to make.

Wonder Wickets is a game inspired by our love of mini-golf, with a twist in mechanics to make it a fresh and exciting experience. It features a colorful cast of playable characters and high-resolution graphics that anyone can enjoy, and simple, versatile controls that anyone can pick up and play.
Wonder Wickets is a small and simple game, but we're still injecting it with love and the Rightstick devotion to quality and innovative design.

- Collect stardust and smack enemies in a scurry to achieve the higher score
- Race to the end in the least amount of strokes
- Aim for moving enemies and targets in a driving range

Adjustable Controls, with support for keyboards/mouse and all standard PC controllers.

Wonder Wickets is being developed for PC on Steam, Itch.io, and other selling platforms. We have plans for possible ports after the PC release.

These extra features require more music and sound effects, which costs much more money. The budget for each goal also includes a little bit more to cover time and effort needed to create new assets.
Each goal reached will also push the release date further back, but not by much more than a couple of weeks each.

Fortress Siege: Topple the defenses of your opponent's castle and defeat their king. The player with the most amount of damage after either king is defeated wins!

Party Mode: Play a randomly generated set of matches, with random modes, rules, etc. with each match.

And More? -- We'll experiment with more multiplayer mode ideas, and see what sticks!
And Further?
We want to keep Wonder Wickets simple, in order to maintain scope and make sure we can complete it. However, if we continue far past $1400, we'll see what other content we can add into the game.

Work with us to design an enemy for Wonder Wickets! You'll have influence on all the aspects of the enemy, and we'll make sure this enemy fits in the game while meeting your (reasonable) desires.
Please note that enemy designs must fit the game in design and functionality, along with meeting our design and thematic standards. Risks and Challenges
Wonder Wickets is a small and simple game, and Nick has enough prior experience to be able to complete all the necessary functions of the game. However, because every feature relies solely on Nick to complete, anything that happens to him (like injury, sickness, or other major life events) could set the game's release date back, and there's no budgeting assigned to hire a replacement.

Making content with us for Wonder Wickets is sensitive, and since we prefer to maintain a standard on design, certain thematic and style, and certain a age rating to appeal to all players young and old, we reserve the right to refuse submissions for these perks. Thus, to make sure that your submission meets our guidelines, contact as at (email) with your submission (in as much detail as possible) so that we may approve of it, before you confirm your purchase of these perks.
How the Submission Process Works:
- Email nick.r(at)rightstickstudios.com with your submission
- Please do not submit if you have no intention/capability of paying for the perk.
- When submitting your ideas for a character/enemy, include as much details as you can. Visual examples, such as images/videos are preferable, too. If you're submitting an enemy, you can include ideas how this enemy will function.
- Here are design elements we prefer (meeting these will make it much easier to include your design in the game!):

Somewhat "Space" themed, even if it's just a star drawn on them, it helps meld with the rest of the characters

Cute, silly, friendly, something along those lines.
- Something many people can enjoy (specifically for Playable Characters)
- Elements that we outright reject:
- Characters/enemies that you did not make yourself, such as from another show/movie/comic/story/etc. that you do not fully own and have the rights to.
- Anything PG13 or over, or related to anything PG13 or over. This is a kid-friendly game.
- Controversial, political, or sensitive subjects.
- When your submission and contribution is approved, and the campaign is over, we will begin using your submission details to create concept sketches in the style of the game.
- We will possibly make suggestions and alter the design to certain degrees to make sure the character fits in the game, particularly to make sure that it meets our "design elements we prefer", or if it's an enemy design, to make sure that the design works well with the functionality of the AI, and that the AI style fits in the game.
- We'll keep in contact with you (email or Discord is preferred) to make sure the concepts meet your approval.
