Short Summary
Well for
those who do not know me, my name is Andrew “aka” DJ Andyman, 19 years old from
Johannesburg South Africa. Quite frankly I am looking for financial injection
so that I can follow my dream whilst travelling Europe.
My History
Club DJ/Producer Targeting Resident Opportunities
in Europe
House music grabbed me at a tender age of 12. With
my love of house music I grew but so did my passion for music. I purchased
myself a pair of CDJ’s to get started and enrolled on a DJ course (Technics DJ
Mixx Club) for some extra training on beats and bars... I have not looked back
since & may the future bring it on. “I am ready for anything”. Young and
inspired.
I started my
DJ'ing career in 2007.
2007-2008
1 1/2 DJ's Mobile Disco -
Cable boy and sound setup at location.
Functions
completed; Weddings, 21st, corporate functions and so on.
2008-2009
Permanent Wedding Venue @
Isindleke in Modderfontein on behalf of 1 1/2 DJ’s Mobile Disco.

Did the late shift most
functions from 11H30 to 1,2 or 3am.
This venue was extremely
busy and in the second half of the year the functions were on Thursdays,
Fridays, Saturday and Sundays.
A lot of the time it was
a double function meaning one in the day time and the second in the evening.
Functions completed; Weddings,21st,
corporate functions.
2010
As above but the
permanent venue relocated to the UK & 1 ½ DJ's went back on the road.
I attended the Technics
DJ Mix Club and was qualified with a Gold Certificate which is one of their
highest accolades.
I now am the resident
mobile DJ for 1 ½ DJ’s and completed over 50 successful functions as the key
draw card.
2011
I have been on the road
most of the year with 1 ½ DJ’s whilst pursuing my dream of being one of the top
club and production DJ’s.
I won the Casablanca @
Privilege DJ competition in Fourways with the opportunity to feature as a guest
DJ @ Manhattans. I placed 6th out of 30 DJ’s in the Areira 2011
(Stones Centurion) DJ Competition.
I have featured and
played alongside many well-known DJ’s such as; Mark Stent, Dj Kent at Jet
Night Club @ The Coco Cola Dome as well as Mastersims, Peter Booth, DJ Twist,
Morgan Beat Box, Riccardo Dex, Ru-B any many more.
DJ Calculus has rated my
skills in two separate competitions.
2012 - 2013
I was invited to play at
Fashion TV Cedar square. Stones Edenvale have been a regular gig. I also
sent a demo into 94.7 Highveld Stereo to Vin Diesel whom personally contacted
me with very positive comments.
I featured in most of the
clubs in Johannesburg. I also won the Areira's competition this year winnig a trip to Mozambique and playing with many artists on the beaches .
2014/2015
I have been applying my trade around the
country whilst studying sound engineering & music production and working on
a break through into this industry. Flexual records have signed a track I
