Our Story

Battle Zone NERF was built on the love of NERF and first-person shooter video games. What better way to enjoy what you love than to start-up a business where kids, and adults alike can have exhilarating, pain-free fun in an arena made for NERF battles. We started as a mobile event service, travelling to customers' houses and community parks to set up the arena and let the kids and party guests have a BLAST! We are now ready to move into a permanent location in Lakewood inside the old Slammer's baseball location and we need the support of the NERF community!!!!

The Impact

Our young generation has become one where the kids value their cell phones and tablets more than their bicycles and baseballs; they enjoy the avatars in their video games over their friend down the block. And the one thing that can put that all together and actually get them up, out with their friends, and moving full speed in a healthy yet fun way-is a NERF WAR!

Battle Zone NERF provides the place for families to come and let it all out on the battle field. No more worries of the pain and mess of paintball or airsoft, and no more worries about getting the kids active. They enjoy coming to Battle Zone NERF and spending time doing what they love doing the most-being a crazy kid! And this is all the same for the stressed out adult-you can come in and let out all that workplace tension in a place where it's not only okay to shout and jump about, but it's also necessary to stay "alive".

There are not many businesses like this in the United States, in Colorado, in Denver, and definitely not in your neighborhood. You can have an impact by getting this location up and running and starting a new craze in the family entertainment and as an early adopter you will be greatly rewarded. Our success will surely result in many more NERF arenas popping up around the country and around the world. And we welcome the competition because the love of NERF and physical activity is all that matters to us in the end!

What We Need & What You Get

Battle Zone NERF has cost a considerable amount to get up and running. We need to cover building renovation costs, furnishing, additional equipment purchases, and finishing touches on the 9,000 square foot arena near Wadsworth and Jewell in Lakewood, CO. We need your support to reach our mark and get this exciting business off the ground by pre-purchasing admission tickets and booking your parties now.

As an amazing supporter we will offer you perks that will suit any Jr. NERFer, wonderful Mother dearest, World's Coolest Dad, or the best Nana Ever!!!! 

Risks & Challenges

Our biggest risk is not being able to market well enough to reach the public. NERF battle centers are very uncommon and we understand that most people don't even know they  exist. This business has a novelty which will need to be exposed and high awareness will need to raised to get the people interested enough to stop in. We are confident that once they play the first time-they'll be hooked for life. Our business plan for expanding into this store front location allocates funds for a sufficient marketing budget. This will be the primary challenge and focus of our start-up strategy.

The biggest way you can help is by spreading the word. As we said, "The love of NERF is all that matters in the end!" We need you to share the idea and let your soccer mom friend know there a new place she can take the kids for fun; let the football coach know there is a new place they can have the football banquet this year; let the youth pastor know we can take the group for an awesome NERF war on Wednesday nights; let you neighbors know they can take their kids to Battle Zone NERF (and hopefully no more NERF darts will fly over the fence into their yard); bring your kids, bring your kids' friends, bring your kid's friend's cousin from out of town; share the word at your next PTA meeting; tell your mom over your next Saturday morning cup of coffee.
