Boonton Township's 150th Anniversary Celebration
Boonton Township turns 150 this year!
April 11, 2017 marks the 150th Anniversary of Boonton Township, when through an act of the State Legislature the Township of Boonton was created (originally, we were part of Pequannock).
We are celebrating this milestone with a big CELEBRATION on July 15, 2017.
We hope ALL TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS will join in the celebratory activities this day.
Things kick off at 3:30 PM on Saturday, July 15th at the RVA Fields. The extravaganza will feature food trucks, games, a DJ, inflatables, a magician and a special performance by the WEST POINT MILITARY ACADEMY BAND! To finish the celebration, we will have an amazing FIREWORK show!
WE ARE SEEKING YOUR HELP to increase the budget for fireworks and other entertainment beyond what the Township has budgeted in order to guarantee that this CELEBRATION is a memorable one. If we can reach our goal of $25,000 we can make this event a SPECTACULAR one!
Thanking you in advance for helping us put together a very special day to Celebrate our Township’s history, charm and Anniversary.
