Chris Conklin Memorial Fund
Since many people have expressed an interest in contributing to Chris’s family, I am helping the family to create this generosity campaign to assist in the collection of your donations. All donations will be given directly to Christopher JR and Timothy to assist with their educational and medical costs.
Christopher William Conklin, 45, of Red Bank passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at home. He was born in Long Branch and he lived in Asbury Park most of his life.
Chris graduated from Neptune High School and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He loved his country and was a proud USMC veteran.
He was employed by TP ICAP as the US manager of the desktop management team. He loved playing golf, shooting pool and sharing cigars with his brothers. He loved going to the movies with his sons and spending time with his cousins and friends, especially at Christmas time. Chris put his heart into everything he did and everyone he loved.
He is survived by his sons, Christopher and Timothy, their mother, Cynthia Bannon, his mother Lucretia and her husband David Hill, his father Lawrence and his wife Pamela, his brother Danny and his wife Jennifer, his brother Carney and his wife Michele, his brother JC and his wife Kami, his girlfriend Lori, his step-sisters: Lisa Hill Maghan, Sherri Hill Tremmel and Deborah Hill, his three nephews, two nieces, and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Anyone who has ever met Chris knows that his smile was the brightest, his laugh was the loudest and his embrace was the warmest. We will remember him and miss him every hour of every day.
Chris was a dedicated employee with a passion for his job. However, his motivation was his family, especially his sons Christopher (20) and Timothy (18).
Christopher suffered a trauma at age 14 which left him with a permanent disability. He was left unable to attend school and received his high school diploma through home instruction. He has a team of specialists responsible for his regular care, medications and hospital stays.
Timothy is a freshman at Champlain College in Burlington, VT pursuing a career in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics. He works on campus at the Leahy Center for Digital Investigation.
