The people here have inspired us & we continue to be amazed by the potential here. We want to contribute to an already existing great thing in a way that adds value to the community & helps this city flourish. 

Foster is an intentional investment in the community that we believe in so much. We are forming Foster around the notion that Atlanta has incredible potential & the best & most fulfilling way to reach that potential is together. So our desire is to create a physical space to house, support, & equip these individuals.

We seek to develop environments all over the city that champion efficiency as much as inspiration. Our main goal is to bring balance, freedom, & growth to Atlanta's creative citizen. Foster does this through collaborative working spaces that bring the resources & community that were once unavailable to the creative professional as they worked towards success on their own. These spaces are able to house a small batch of creative professionals & give them the structure & peers to take them from where they currently are to where they, & their businesses, desire to go. 

Our goal is to have multiple spaces across the city that are located where the individual currently lives. To be rooted in those communities & playing an active role in bringing us together. Instead of having one location with massive numbers, we want our member relationship's to be set up to go deep rather that wide. To truly become invested in each others success & life. In addition to these collaborative spaces we also are pursuing the ideas of other environments that meet the needs of our local community. 

We believe that a culture that is FOR the person sitting beside them will establish the community we have longed to see in Atlanta. We want to be a part of something bigger that ourselves.

100% of the money given will go directly into outfitting Foster with all the furniture, fixings, & equipment needed to establish a beautiful & functional environment. 

We want to be incredible stewards of the money given. When possible, we will choose to support our local economy as we hope to see our community flourish. Our spending will be with intention & purpose. 

Below is a rough allocation of how the money will be invested. We will invest in those areas that are pivotal to our member's growth & success first. 

This $50,000 will bring Foster to a point of stability, which will let us focus on the development of our culture & growth of our members.

Currently our resources include desks, conference room, day pass memberships, workshop/gather space, limited makers space, & limited space for a small team to work from.  

We want to create spaces that are unique to people that walk through our doors. We don't want to be impersonal; we want the environments to reflect the community & work that will be established inside of them. We believe that for our members to be truly successful the environment needs to mold to their needs. Our goal is to open multiple locations & include such things as studio, maker/craftsmen space, collaborative kitchens, & space where small teams can work from.  

This just doesn't stop at collaborative working environments. To create the space & the community where art, creativity, & success can all do well will keep the talent in our beloved city. Over time this space will serve as a catalyst to changing the city through community. Coming together will allow us to have investment in each other on a daily basis. This consistent influence will turn into momentum which will then impact our city.

This campaign is to fund Foster, but the long term of this is more about the success of our city & it's citizens than it is about our fame or recognition. Atlanta is strong & we think it could be a great city where we all can thrive.
