And yes we hope to continue collaborating with our many great friends in the brewing community, but we need a base of operations in order to keep this beer in on tap. Help us build a place to call home for truly local beer.

What We Need & What You Get

• $20,000 allows us to install an added restroom and make it universally accessible, as well as four big kitchen sinks, prep tables, additional refrigeration and seating. With all that, plus our state of the art 1 barrel brew kettle, four 2 barrel fermenters, a brite tank and other brand new equipment, we will have a truly unique place - authentic farm to table and sustainable in every way.

   

• If we fall short of our entire goal, we will still honor all of our perks. The rest of the funding will be used toward our ultimate goal. It will just take us a little longer to get there. 

The Impact

When we say this is your Homefield, we mean that you could and should take pride in what we make with local farm goods. From the beginning, Homefield has connected with our sense of community. Meeting farmers, walking the fields, smelling the freshest of malts, offering the chance for folks to buy into the harvest long before the beer is even made. We own it. But you own it too. This beer is ours. Let's do this together. Joining the jug club puts money in the farmers pockets so they can assure that our malt and hop supplies will keep filling our kettle. 

Risks & Challenges

Our biggest risk is opening without a full pouring license, which we will do if we fall short of our funding goal. This will amount to a slower start, but we will pour revenue into the the remodeling required to get our taproom. Since we make great beer with the freshest ingredients, patience will be well rewarded.
