THE STORY
“Odd One Out” portrays the difficult reality of how people begin to grow apart as they get older. Long-time friends, appear inseparable at first glance. However, as people grow and change, they can sometimes become unrecognizable. This dramatic comedy explores how far friends can be pushed to their limits before their relationship becomes irrecoverable.
This story follows recent college graduates, as they attempt to navigate the discomfort in their friendship. They each go on a hiking trip with their own, very different, expectations that are quickly shattered. The film captures how dysfunctionality and a series of lies push their seemingly close relationship to the edge.
