As of 12/11/13 we have raised $27,500 of that $70,000. This covers the design and construction of our outdoor play/exercise yard, our HVAC system, our security and fire system, washtub, and windows.

• Sani-Kennels through Mason Kennels. Only the best and safest kennels for our Peace & Paws pups! These are the least cage-like feeling kennels available. They will provide our dogs with more security and protection from cross-contamination and any cage to cage stress. They reduce cage-to-cage aggression and provide a 'homier' feel. 
  
• Check out the new perks we've added in connection with the kennels. There are lots of naming opportunities for you or your company.

Need more convincing that we know what we’re doing when it comes to dog rescue? Did you know:

• Peace and Paws has rescued more than 2,000 dogs since its founding.
  
• 35 percent of Peace and Paws dogs that were surrendered to us had severe health issues and were in danger of being put down. We were able to restore these dogs back to good health, and find them forever homes.
  
• Through our work with Rescue Riders, our volunteers have coordinated more than 175 trips between the southern states and New England to save these animals.
  
• Peace and Paws has saved at least 10 heart-worm positive dogs, and taken many pregnant dogs in order to avoid having them give birth in a shelter.
  
• Peace and Paws takes special care to take in senior dogs. Many of them require specialized care such as dental work, treatment for bladder stones, eye surgeries, and more.
  
• Many of our dogs that we began training while they were in foster care have gone on to receive their Canine Good Citizen certification.
