Short Summary

When I was about 12 I took the batteries out of a little electric boat and hooked up a small solar panel.  The boat was able to zoom across the pool just on solar power.  Ever since then I have wanted to make solar boats people could live on.  I have made many models to test out different designs and now have a design that I really believe will work well.

My four boys are old enough now to be the engineers that help turn this dream into reality.

Making it easy and affordable for people to live on the ocean could have a big impact on the world.   Groups could work on projects without having to deal with visa and work permit issues.   Most taxes don't apply to people travelling.     Retired couples could live on the ocean without worry that their property taxes or electricity costs would go up.   These solar boats would not require the skills that sailing does nor the cost that motorboats do.  It could be a whole new lifestyle.
