Join me - Jeff - in building the Bay Area's first sneaker-making, upcycling and design workshop.
Together we can create the greenest, most fun sneaker shop on the planet.
SoleSpace Lab is harnessing the dynamism of sneaker culture to unleash our community’s creativity, take on climate change, and train young people in design and social entrepreneurship - plus spark joy!
Help me raise the final $10k we need to run our 3 month pilot this summer.
Grab one of our great PERKS and/or make a contribution to fund our youth scholarships.
All contributions of $20+ incl. a ticket to our 6/14 kickoff party, $100 or more includes 2 tix.
A Groundbreaking Approach
There are sneaker workshops in at least 8 cities across the U.S. - but none in The Bay, and none that focus on sustainability while training up local teens. We will.
SoleSpace Lab brings together 4 proven elements under one roof for the first time: an upcycling & cleaning service, customizing and design classes, a maker workspace, and a sneaker gallery.
Choose GREAT PERKS and/or make a contribution
Your contribution will go directly to our scholarship fund, ensuring Oakland teens from all economic backgrounds are able to participate.
OR grab a Perk for you, friends, and family:
- Customize your Kicks at a workshop - no experience necessary
- Get your sneakers cleaned by our skilled technicians
- Rent the space for an event with your peeps (Karaoke, movie night, etc.)
- Commission a handmade pair of Air Jordans or Sambas!
* All contributions of $20+ incl. a ticket to our kickoff party, $100 or more includes 2 tix.
Let's Do This!
We could all use a major dose of joy right now - and downtown Oakland could really use some positive energy these days.
Join us in raising the final $10k to launch the SoleSpace Lab summer pilot!
Let’s give this gift to our community and our youth.
Thank you in advance,
