Our Story
There isn't any place in savannah to buy music. Not even one! Let's change that. Together For Records will start off pretty small with about 300 vinyls but will have plenty of room to grow. While our inventory may be small to start, our knowledge of music is huge, so we'll always be able to recommend something new. We'll also have a regularly updated blog/ website which will have our current inventory, new additions to the store, features on who is coming to Savannah, and much much more! The Impact
At the heart of great music cities, is a great record store. We have the knowledge, abilities, passion, and time to make this happen. The only thing we're missing is the funds. And that's where you guys come in! By having a place to buy new releases as they are released, Savannah can stay current on new music throughout the year. By opening a record store, we will have direct connections to the record labels, bands, and managers that schedule tours. With our connection and Savannah showing its interest and support a band by buying their music, they will have a reason to stop here on tour, which means MORE SHOWS IN SAVANNAH!!!
What We Need & What You Get
Need:
We need money for inventory. It costs money to get the actual records shipped here and put into the shop.
(the more donations we get, the larger our starting inventory, plain and simple)
We need money for a space. While retail prices are relatively inexpensive in Savannah, it still costs money!
(the more donations we get, the bigger, and nicer our shop can be)
We need money for promotional materials, licenses, and fees.
(the smallest portion of our costs, but still important!)
Get:
You get gift cards to the shop! (to be redeemed within one year of opening, online or instore)
(whatever amount you pledge (excluding t-shirt pledges) will be returned to you 100% in the form of a gift card)
