Buying a Wheelys bike not only gives you a brilliant café operation ready to launch, you also join a global superbrand, giving YOU and YOUR bike the muscle of the global superbrand but without the expensive start-up costs and overhead!

The coffee is crucial for any serious café. Wheelys has the best coffee in the world. We make coffee on the bike using a drip-over or a vacuum siphon brewer, invented in Berlin in the 1830s.
Handled correctly - nothing delivers coffee as good as the siphon does, all without using any electricity - only eco-ethanol. The Siphon is the most environmentally loving coffee maker there is.

You’ve seen the big chains desperately pretending they care, applying weird green policies on top of a fundamentally harmful company.
Wheelys is the complete opposite.

Will I need a permit for my Wheelys?
That depends. Most cities in the world allow for non-stationary selling. That means as long as you keep moving you won't require a permit. However, it is your responsibility to check with your local council. In most cities they really like the idea of a café bicyle, as they are considered good for the city brand :)
How much can I expect to earn in a day?
(Oh yes, that IS the question.) In our experiments our success varied according to the time of the day, where you stand, the day of month, weather and so on. A rough estimation is that in Scandinavia you can earn $300 - $700 in one six-hour shift. Of course, most of the selling will be done during rush hours. You can expand your earnings A LOT by moving your spot to where the people are at the moment AND by changing your menu depending on customer requests. For instance, make sure to bring a lot of coffee to the train station for all the poor, tired commuters that didn't have time to brew their own coffee in the morning. Make salads or sandwiches and set up near the offices and hotels in town around lunchtime. And in the evening: swing by a football game and celebrate with the winners, or serve some coffee and a croissant made with love to this game's losers. They sure will need it.
Can I order a Wheelys and re-brand the bike?
Yes. Ordering the bike makes it YOURS. We are an open source company. Most people will benefit from operating under the Wheely's brand, but if you want to call yourself Mr Pineapple and sell pineapple drinks in Aruba- go ahead. The bike is perfect for any kind of street operation.
What do you mean by saying you have learned from the giants?
We use what we have learnt from working with giants such as McDonald's and Starbucks. How they do their branding, pricing, advertising, product development and so on. You could say we use their weapons against them, except Wheelys is nimbler, smaller and faster moving. It's going to be FUN!
What can be sold from a Wheelys
We have decided to have a minimum selection of coffee, soft drinks, fruits and some pastry. Apart from that, every bike owner is free to add their own touch to it - yogurt, croissants and an assortment of small candies etc. There might also be selling of magazines and newspapers as well as cross-promotions with new brands and product launches. Sell bagels and sandwiches in the evening, or give it a French touch by making crêpes!
How will you advertise Wheelys?
In the team behind Wheelys you'll find some of the most awarded advertisers in the world. We'll use all the latest social media strategies and techniques employed by the giants such as McDonald's, but we use them for good! So no ads, ads don’t work. The media landscape is flooded and looking for ads is like fetching a bucket. Instead we suggest you bring your swim suit and adapt. We generate a lot of the only thing that matters, attention.
When will the bikes be delivered?
First we need to finish the IndieGoGo campaign. After that the bikes will be sourced from various suppliers and hand assembled . You have to expect it will take at least six weeks after the funding is finished until you have your bike. Yes we KNOW that it's hard. But remember: first ordered first served. If you order today, at least you will get your Wheelys before everyone else ordering after you!
Can I order coffee from you?
Yes. Coffee products will be available beginning in March 2015. Until that time we encourage you to only serve eco-friendly fair-trade coffee that you prefer.
What do I do when I’m out of cups?
We are working day and night in order to get all of the logistics ready. By the end of 2015 you will be able to order cups directly from our Wheely’s app. But until then: we recommend that you use white paper cups and brand them with the easy stamp you’ll get with your Wheely’s starter kit. The pre-printed kind will look like this:

No! Our early adopters from the IndieGogo campagin won't be charged any licence fee - lifetime. You will never ever have to pay anything more than this one time price and the shipping costs. However, if you want to – in the future you will be able to buy coffee and other products from us. After this campaign has ended all new bicycles sold will be charged a 150$/month licensing fee, so that's just one more perk you get for being one of our early adopters!
How much will I need to pay in shipping cost?
When the bike is ready to be shipped we will send you an invoice via PayPal. We will do our best to keep the shipping costs down and the maximum price you will ever need to pay us will be:
$ 400 for shipping in Europe
$ 600 for shipping in the US$ 1000 for shipping to the rest of the world.

If ordering more than five (5) bikes, we will charge 50% less for shipping.

I want to have my own Wheelys Tokyo Facebook page, can I have that?
We suggest all our customers to use the benefits of using the Wheely’s Global Facebook page. But if you’re a social media master yourself and want to operate your own page, we will not be the ones that stop you, we'll actively support you.
I want to make my own Wheelys ads to spread the information about my business. Can I do that?
Yes, Wheelys is an open source company. We will support you with guidelines on how to get the best use of our branding material. So go ahead, make something beautiful.
I want to sell a lot of coffee. How do I do that?
