Short Summary

     Hello everyone. My name is Jay Mooers. I am an artist and writer. Autumn Grey is a personal project that began 10 years ago. Autumn Grey #1 was my first comic ever! Since then I've done many indie comics with various writers and artists. I also have done work for companies like Dynamite Entertainment, Living Dead Press, Belanger Books, and 5finity. 

     Autumn Grey is my personal journey as a comic writer and artist. It has grown over the years and changed along with my life in the comic industry. I'm proud to introduce issue #8 and would love for you to take the journey with me.

     The tale is about a girl named Kara Grey, who is pulled into a war hidden from people in 1990's New Hampshire between fairies and monsters. She is turned into a weapon as she falls down the proverbial rabbit hole into very dark places. By this issue, she is serving a monster known only as Simon as they terminate the creatures on his hit list. 

     The book is already complete! This is your opportunity to get into this tale, or continue the journey you're already on! Either way, I hope you enjoy what you find here.

What We Need & What You Get

• As I stated before. This book is complete! I am only looking to acquire the expenses for printing. 
• I am offering a few different perks including digital or physical copies of all the Autumn Grey books. All books will be signed by me. There is also going to be a special variant cover only available through this campaign! 
• Any funds raised by this campaign will go directly to printing costs. The better this campaign does, the nicer options for printing we will have. 

The Impact

• The indie market in comics is booming! There is unlimited potential stretching in every direction with more variety than you can imagine. I created a comic style and story here that I feel it truly unique. It's not just a comic, but really an expression of the artist and a readable work of art that continues to grow. Forget what you know about comics. This is something unique. 
• This is the first time I'm using crowd funding for an issue of Autumn Grey. Usually I preorder through my site and make most of my sales through comic conventions. But the way the world is at this time, I needed to find other ways of promoting growth. 
• So every dollar I make here will solely go to the printing and distribution of the comic, Autumn Grey. I hope this campaign brings Autumn Grey to more places than I ever could by traveling to comic shows. 

Risks & Challenges

• Every backer will get a copy of this book. The only possible delay would be if printing houses were closed during the pandemic. As I've said before, this book is complete! And I have already begun working on the next issue. 
• If my printer does shut down, and isn't able to commit to my printing, I'll find another printer.  You WILL get your books.
