You're probably wondering why the picture of this little boy and girl are up.  Well, we're asking you to contribute at least $5 dollars today, the cost of your daily "latte" (for 99% of you:) to change the lives of children like Bibi and Abdul forever.

This campaign is to help transform the lives of children that are victims of war.  All contributions made are 100% tax deductible.

If enough people contribute to this campaign we will change the life of these two children and others like them who would more than likely end up in orphanages due to the injures they have sustained.

Follow BIBI and ABDUL from start to finish.....  we anticipate their journey to Los Angeles to begin in October.

By helping make the journey for these two children as successful as possible , you will witness life changing transformation from day one of "GIVE UP A LATTE" and the life altering journey from Kabul to Los Angeles. This is just one example of the many children that you will be helping.  Abdul, a  7 yr. old boy lost his leg and other parts of his body on July 21st 2013 in Herat, Afghanistan.  He was playing outside with his 10 year old brother when a rocket landed near them, his brother died instantly.  Bibi, a 10-year- old girl lost her right arm and eye while playing outside with three friends , her friends died from the blast and she was left for dead on August 1st, just 9 days after Abdul's injury.  Both Bibi and Abdul have become friends while in the hospital and have bonded in a way that most of us will never understand.  This dynamic friendship that spun off a casualty of war, will go on to do great things in life so long as complete strangers contribute a small amount from the goodness of their heart.  Children of War Foundation is currently working with a NATO hospital and other American professionals and reservists to make Abdul's and Bibi's journey to Los Angeles a true story of human strength and success.  With your help, they will stay with an American host family who will love him as their own child.  We'll be spearheading securing surgical and medical treatment in Los Angeles, as well as obtaining the following items:

Round trip transportation to Los Angeles from Kabul for himself and a COWF representative to escort him.

A wheel chair, Medications,Rehabilitation, Counseling, Operation(s), Prosthetic leg, Housing, Legal documents, a handy-cam to film to this journey & LOVE.

Bibi and Abdul are only two out of many children we have and will treat, time is of the essence.

This year alone we have transformed the lives of over 50 children and we are doing it one child at a time.

By contributing to this amazing project, you will witness Bibi and Abdul's  journey from Kabul to Los Angeles, one step at a time. Photos and clips of the trip journey will be posted each step of the way on our social media by our Afghan Ambassador Salar Nader.

In addition to bringing Abdul and Bibi for medical treatment, we'd like to reunite them with the American Army Reservists who made this mission happen and reached out to COWF for assistance.  This individual is currently on duty in Afghanistan and will return home early next year.  More information and details on reuniting them will be announced towards the end of medical treatment prior to returning Abdul and Bibi to Afghanistan.
