Who We Are

Hi there,

My name is Steve Rothenbuehler and on behalf of all of our production team, including our Executive Producer, Tony Verde and our award winning Producer Jessica Mathews, I would like to first take this opportunity to thank you for visiting our “Trailer Trash” IndieGoGo page.

We are really excited to be working on a comedy that will appeal to audience members both male and female, young and old.

The Story

Trailer Trash is a comedy about a skinny weightlifter named Bob who secretly hides an engagement ring in a prized trophy. When the trophy is incidentally thrown out with the trash, Bob goes on an odyssey to get back the ring to propose to his real prize--his girlfriend!

What We Are Doing

With that said, we are coming to you for funding our feature film. We have our business plan, budget, and have been in talks with name talent. Some talent has already signed on board. We’ve come this far so there is no turning back. We will not give up. There is already buzz surrounding this movie so we are really looking forward to getting it out into the festival scene. With your help we can make this happen and we will not forget anyone who has contributed to its success on this wonderful journey towards its triumph.

Where can I learn more about the film?

You can read more about the film, the filmmakers and updates. Make sure to return to the website regularly for updated information throughout the IndieGoGo fundraising process.  We want to keep all of you involved with what we’re doing.

Can I use my credit card?

Yes, and you can also use PayPal as well.  In fact, using PayPal is the most direct way to get us the money as it goes through immediately... regular credit card donations don't come to us until the deadline is over. Either way, we're just excited you want to help!!

Is my pledge amount publicly displayed?

No. Only you and the filmmakers can see the amount.

If I donate, when can I redeem the incentive?

Once we’ve met our goal we will immediately start to ship out all the physical merchandise we have already completed directly to you.  A lot of the incentives are physical merchandise that requires us to finish the film, like DVD’s etc can only happen after the film is completed, so this will take a bit more time. Check our website to see when they are ready to be released. And as always please feel free to contact us directly with any further questions!

What if I don’t want an incentive, I just want to support the movie!?

No problem, there is a button that you can select if you don’t want the incentive. (We still might want to hug you though)

Can we exceed the goal?

YES! This would truly be amazing. Exceeding our goal would allow us to finish faster, make a better movie all around and have the steam to keep going once the festival season kicks into gear. IndieGoGo will allow us to utilize as much money as is given before the deadline. 

Can I gift an Incentive?

YES! Some of our incentives make fine gifts. If you would like to donate to the film but have the incentive go to another person as a gift go ahead and donate as usual, and put your own information in. Then when the campaign is over we will contact through the email you provided to fulfill the incentive.  When you get that email, please reply with the other person’s information and let us know you want it gifted.

What happens if the money isn’t raised on time?

We will still receive most of the money donated up to that point, just not all of it.  So we want to not only reach our goal, but surpass it! You can help by forwarding this to your friends using the helpful social networking bar just below the video.

Who does the money go to?

Every penny (minus the fees for IndieGoGo’s awesome support) will go directly to the “Trailer Trash” movie budget.

I’m not in the US. Can I still pledge to the project?

Yes, you can pledge from anywhere.
